LIFERS INC. – VOICES OF THE CONDEMNED at SCI-PHOENIX: I’m a Latino, born in Puerto Rico, in prison [wrongfully] for 29 years. With all that is happening on this day, to me, it is very important that Latinos are not excluded from any changes that have the potential to occur. There are many Latinos who have not received a fair trial and others who are wrongfully convicted. These men deserve a chance to be heard, an opportunity that was never presented in a system (Criminal Justice Center (CJC)) that operate under one code of law, “Conviction.” Latinos voices are screaming for true justice, or justice that doesn’t discriminate. Give Latinos a chance. I’m Rene Ortiz – Wrongfully Convicted; Still Fighting! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
